Jessie's Well Blog

Day 12

Day 12
September 19

Today we “slept in” meaning we woke up at 7 am instead of 5 am.  The day was busy with laundry, correspondence and errands for various supplies.  As we were walking out of the RV early in the morning to do laundry, a man was standing next to the RV looking at the graphics.  I introduced myself to him and he asked how our event was related to Compassion.  As it turns out, Steve has been a Compassion supporter for years.  We enjoyed a time of wonderful fellowship and gave him a post card.  Later in the morning a woman named Lisa knocked on the RV door and handed us a cash donation.  She later came by with an additional donation after viewing the Jessie’s Well site.  What an amazing experience it is for us to see how God touches hearts.  Tomorrow we head out of town at first light to avoid the winds that that typically pick up later in the day.  I will ride along the front range of the Tetons through the Jackson Hole valley in the morning before turning to the south into the Wind River Range.  Looking forward to a spectacular day of scenery.
